Building relationships with our students is an essential part of this trip. You’ll meet and connect with our students over events, workshops, meals, home visits, and more.

You’ll enter into the fascinating story of Rwanda, learning more about it’s history and culture, as well as its hope for the future.

You’ll participate in mutual learning, facilitating workshops to develop valuable professional and life skills.

Our students will share their lives with you; and you’ll share your wisdom and life experience with them. The result — mutual growth!

WHAT IS our university leadership program?

At These Numbers Have Faces, our vision is generations of emerging leaders transforming Africa’s tomorrow. We believe educated, empowered, community-driven young people are the best vehicles for transformational social change. Therefore, we educate and equip Africa’s brightest young leaders, empowering them to cultivate thriving communities.

Educate. We recruit the brightest and best students from poor, rural, and post-conflict communities and give them access to a university education.

Equip. The real key to our success is Leadership Development. We facilitate monthly workshops to develop the leadership skills critical for work and life.

Empower. All of our students spend at least 50 hours every school year on a Community Impact Project, doing something to make a transformational difference in their communities.
