Steven grew up in Rwanda and is from a large family of 16. Growing up, Steven’s family faced incredible financial challenges and often struggled to access and afford basic resources, such as school fees. His father struggled with addiction which also impacted Steven’s family. Despite these significant earlier challenges, Steven is now studying Business Management at Mount Kigali University. 

With a degree in Business Management, Steven dreams of building a successful career as an entrepreneur. He hopes to apply the skills and knowledge he’ll gain in leadership, finance, and marketing to effectively manage business operations. He hopes that by starting his own business he will be able to create job opportunities and promote economic development within his community. 

Outside of school, Steven is a barista and loves making coffee. He enjoys worshipping, watching soccer, and likes the experience of working hard.
