Olivier grew up in a family of four people – his Mom, Dad, himself, and his brother. Their family was very poor, always struggling for even the most basic needs of food and shelter. Then in 2022, Olivier’s mother died. Her death was extremely hard on his family. As hard as life was when she was alive, life became even more difficult after she passed away. All hope seemed to be gone. But thanks to the love and compassion of his pastor, Olivier was able to rediscover his hope. He is passionate about building a better life for himself and his family.

Olivier attends the University of Rwanda, where he is studying Sociology. Having grown up in a very poor community, his dream is to find ways to socio-economic development to poor, rural communities.

Outside the classroom, Olivier is active in his church. He loves playing the piano and leading worship.
