Julius was born to a humble farming family of eight, with five brothers. Growing up, hard work wasn’t encouraged, it was required. Julius was the unofficial milk transporter for his family. Julius traveled to the farm each day after school to collect milk. While it wasn’t always easy for Julius to juggle school and work, these experiences taught him valuable lessons such as discipline, time management, and the importance of responsibility. Looking back, those times were challenging but also rewarding. They gave him a deep appreciation for the support he received from his family and community. 

Julius is taking what he’s learned and is now studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Rwanda. He hopes to build a career that supports financial growth and makes a meaningful social impact. Julius is passionate about helping others and empowering youth, particularly those from families experiencing poverty. He aims to use his knowledge and skills to promote financial literacy among young people, teaching them skills related to budgeting, saving, and long-term financial planning. 

Julius loves soccer as both a way to stay active and also benefit from being part of a team. He also finds focus in prayer, enjoys reading as a way to stay curious, and likes to watch movies to relax and explore other cultures and stories.
