BIO

Geoffrey was born in Tanzania, but moved to Rwanda in 2013 after his family lost everything they owned under the previous government. Geoffrey comes from a large family of twelve, including his parents and nine siblings. Despite the challenges Geoffrey and his family faced, his parents worked extremely hard to ensure Geoffrey could continue his education. He credits his parents’ sacrifice and encouragement in shaping his determination and ability to work hard. 

Geoffrey is now studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Rwanda. Geoffrey is excited at the diverse career paths open to him with this degree. With his skills in budgeting, reporting, and interpreting financial data, Geoffrey hopes to be a valuable asset to both corporate and nonprofit sectors. 

In his free time, Geoffrey enjoys staying active and social by playing basketball and pool. Geoffrey also loves listening to music and connecting with people in his community.
