JOURNEY
- March 1, 2023 – In a recent Leadership Development Workshop, we explored the question, “How can you make sure the pain of your past doesn’t determine your future?” What stood out and meant the most to you in this workshop? Eric said: “The past doesn’t determine my future. First, what happened in my past was not due to my mistakes or any influence, only God knows the reason and he is always preparing a better future for us. A bad history leaves us with the experience to change and make the future a better destiny. We must proceed with hard work, motivation, confidence, and not give up!!”
- September 8, 2022 – Eric shared the biggest changes in his life since the end of the COVID restrictions: “COVID-19 was totally bad for my life as student, where many things changed. After COVID-19, life continued as usual but due to the effects of COVID-19 it opened our minds to think beyond the circle so that we can develop and recover what we lost during COVID-19.”
- September 13, 2021 – Eric shared his favorite song and what it means to him: “My favorite song right now is called “Corona Virus” by Inyenyeri: https://youtu.be/b-n_a_zfcIg. This song is about COVID 19. Honestly, this virus has created only bad for our life, like not being able to meet with family, friends, and parents who offer us happiness and hope, helping us to create and prepare our dreams. Therefore, this song talks about how we can deal with all the bad caused by the Corona Virus and make our life better.”
- July 16, 2021 – Eric shared what resilience means to him: “Resilience means the capacity to recover quickly in difficult and tough times.”
- March 1, 2021 – Eric said his biggest lesson from 2020 was: “Thanks for this time to talk about what I learned in 2020. As a year that was characterized by coronavirus that led us to quarantine and lockdown. I can say that I did nothing but I learned many things like: to know that everything is possible so we have to be always prepared for unsuspected things like pandemics, wars, draughts and poverty. By saving from the little we have or get, also to care and love people around me.”
