Edmond grew up in Kigali, where a sense of familiarity and shared values shaped his upbringing. The community Edmond grew up in was characterized by a mix of cultural backgrounds, and he often felt a sense of belonging and security. His home community also placed an emphasis on education and extracurricular activities, which greatly influenced Edmond. While his community was a positive place for Edmond, his family has faced significant challenges. His father passed away and his mother has continued to struggle with her mental health, which has taken a toll on their family. Due to his father’s passing and his mother’s health issues, his family has struggled to afford school fees. Edmond’s uncle and younger brother helped him pay for school fees during high school, however paying for university became an even bigger challenge. 

Edmond attends the Adventist University of Central Africa, studying Networks and Communication Systems. Edmond is deeply fascinated with the dynamic and transformative nature of technology and dreams of being a Networking expert. He is excited about being at the forefront of technological advancements, playing a role in shaping the future, and creating solutions that address real-world challenges. Edmond dreams of leading initiatives that address community needs, foster positive change, and contribute to the overall well-being of those he serves. 

Outside of the classroom, Edmond serves as an advisor at his church, overseeing event organization, providing guidance, and supporting community members.
