Assoumpta’S CIRCLE
BIO
Assoumpta grew up in a rural area called Rwanteru, in Kirehe district, which is in the Eastern province of Rwanda. She grew up with her parents and siblings, and when she was younger she attended Sunday school at their church. Assoumpta liked to play games with her classmates at school. When she was growing up, there was no electricity in her community and it was a very big problem for them. This inspired Assoumpta to study electrical power engineering, so that she can impact the lives of numerous people in her community by bringing electricity to rural villages at an affordable price. Currently, Assoumpta is a church usher, she is responsible for seating guests and maintaining order and security of service in the church. She is also a member of a career guidance team, they teach students how to choose their career by considering their personalities, personal values and interests.
