BIO

Born in Tanzania, Angel is the fourth child among thirteen children. She grew up in a neighborhood where few people had access to education, and girls were often valued less than boys. Life was often extremely difficult, but Angel’s mother and their family’s faith helped carry them through. Angel eventually moved to Rwanda to continue her schooling. She lives with her mother, who Angel credits with helping shape her into the person she is today. 

Despite the challenges she’s experienced, Angel is now working towards a degree in Software Engineering at the Adventist University of Central Africa. Her hope is to lift up the people in her community, showing them that “transformation is possible.” 

In her free time, Angel enjoys reading books and poetry, playing sports, listening to music, and spending time in nature.
