Anaise was born into a family of seven people. Life was not always easy. Her family faced many challenges, but they always found a way to make it through. Still, Anaise learned at an early age that life isn’t always easy. It can be harsh and difficult.

Anaise’s school community provided opportunity for her to develop her leadership skills. She became the Assistant Head Girl. She learned that female leaders, in particular, don’t always have it easy. There were times when she was mocked and called names. But through this experience, she’s learned some great leadership skills for how to deal with antagonism and adversity.

Anaise attends the University of Rwanda, where she is studying General Medicine and Surgery. She  is passionate about helping young people develop positive attitudes so they can pay attention to their mental health and live the best life possible.

Outside the classroom, Anaise is active in her church. She teaches children before they receive the Sacraments for the first time. Anaise also enjoys sports, especially volleyball. She’s also been active in her school’s science club.
