Bio

Lyse Yvannie grew up in a loving and respectful community where each person was an equal member of the family. She describes her community as the best thing that has ever happened to her -- teaching her how to be loyal, serve others, hardworking, courageous, and tenacious. As one of 6 children in their home, Lyse Yvannie’s family has struggled to meet their needs, but knowing that education is a priority they have made sacrifices to pay their way.

Lyse Yvannie loves helping others, and has dreamed of studying Pharmacy from a young age. She wants to make it a priority to give those in poor or rural areas access to the medicines and healthcare they need to survive. Her dream is to make healthcare available to every single person in her country.

Outside of university, Lyse Yvannie is a part of several groups that empower young girls and serve their communities. She also loves to sing!
