BioPatience’s parents separated when she was a little girl, leaving her mother to raise her as her only child. Although challenging, Patience persisted -- studying hard and giving her time to her community. In 2013, her uncle saw her potential and agreed to pay for her school fees to complete her secondary education. Recognizing the opportunity, she worked ever harder, finishing school at the top of her class with a perfect score on her National Leaving Exam!
As a determined student, Patience is focusing her time at university on Journalism. Her hope is to give members of her community and young people the information they need to continue their education and development. She is confident that as a future leader she will transform her community into a better place for everyone, including her mother.
Patience also devotes her time to playing music in her church’s youth band and volunteering with local organizations serving children.
