BioOscar was raised by his Aunt after the death of his parents, but she struggled to support his education. In, 2011, Oscar was accepted into a local organization vulnerable children and orphans from all around Rwanda to receive his basic needs and a high quality education. From his teachers and caregivers, he learned the importance of selflessness, integrity, respect, and community.
Oscar fills his time with serving others, teaching secondary school students, working on computers and a desire to always be learning. He even was first in his class of over 100 students! With a degree in Computer Engineering, Oscar wants to be a software engineer and contribute to the ever-growing technology in his country.
Oscar is currently in the Entrepreneurship Club at his university, and he was the treasurer of a volunteer group that helped pass out food and clothes to local homes. He also loves karate!
