Christian’S CIRCLE

  • B. & S. Agnew – Austin, TX

Christian is the youngest of ten children in his family. Shortly after he was born, his family was forced to flee their home in DR Congo due to violence. While he has lived in Gihembe Refugee Camp in Northern Rwanda for nearly twenty years, Christian still maintains hope that one day he will return to his home country. Life in the refugee camp has made him realize that the only way to survive and overcome his circumstances is through education. Christian has lost both his parents, but their hard work to provide for his family has inspired him to want to become a leader and bring his community out of poverty. With his Accounting degree, his vision is to work with big businesses and help grow a strong economy in East Africa.
