Bio

Agnes is the youngest in a family of six children. When she was still a little girl, however, her father was killed in the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. Instead of becoming discouraged, Agnes poured herself into her studies. She has always been passionate about science and engineering, which has led her to pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering! Agnes' vision is to build sustainable water projects that can provide clean and safe water to millions of Rwandans. Through improving water quality, Agnes hopes to impact the health of her country, and ultimately increase life expectancy.
