Elizabeth has joined TNHF as the Director of Programs in Cape Town. Executive Director Justin Zoradi catches up with Elizabeth and discusses what she hopes to bring to These Numbers Have Faces.

In a very exciting meeting last week, the wives of US college presidents sat down to discuss the future education of South African students.

TNHF staff's most recent trip to South Africa resulted in exciting additions to the team and a new South African Staff.

In the most recent trip to South Africa, Executive Director, Justin Zoradi and our new South Africa staff, Edwin Louw and Elizabeth Benninger met with the leaders of tomorrow... graduating Fezeka High School students.

Guests included Dr Alberta Mayberry, US Consulate General to Cape Town, Esther Ramusi from Stellenbosch University, Kobus Visagie, President of the Cornerstone Institute, and Jeffery Wright, CEO of Urban Ministries Inc.

With nearly 40 scholarship applications,  These Numbers Have Faces is continually impressed with the caliber of students referred to our program.

TNHF scholar, Xolani, takes us to the College of Cape Town where is he pursuing his degree in Accounting. Even though Xolani is an incredibly serious student with a steadfast resolve, we were able to get him to relax a bit at the end and crack a smile. We are so proud of you Xolani!

Thembeni Mthethw, the local mayor in the rural KwaZulu Natal town of Jozini reflects on the challenges of being a female leader in South African politics.

On October 2nd, Westmont College awarded TNHF Director Justin Zoradi "Young Alumni of The Year" for his work in South Africa.
