Requirements:

- Must be a citizen of South Africa and in possession of a green South African Identity Document

- Must be a resident in a disadvantaged community in or around Cape Town and have residence of minimum 3 years

- Must pass the matric examination or the National Benchmark Test and produce proof of current academic progress (high school or tertiary)

- Must have written letters of motivation from one community leader and one academic source (teacher, principal or lecturer)

- Must include a breakdown of the costs required for the bursary (tuition, books, transportation, accommodation

- Must disclose household income and sign a declaration

- Must adhere to the TNHF Community Impact Model

- Have no criminal record
